Central Region: Fascendini and the Liutenant Governor of Dubai agreed to boost trade

The Vice-Governor of Santa Fe met his counterpart from Dubai, who confirmed the intention of his Government to boost trade with the Central Region.

The Vice-Governor of Santa Fe, Carlos Fascendini, on behalf of the Central Region, held an important meeting with one of the highest authorities of Dubai, the Lieutenant Governor and, at the same time, Minister of Finance of the United Arab Emirates (USA), Handam Bin Rashid Al Maktoum. Also participated in the meeting the Secretary-General of the Federal Council of Investments (CFI), Mr. Juan José Ciacera; and the Argentine Ambassador to USA, Fernando de Martini.

During the meeting, Fascendini reviewed the integration of the Central Region and the degree of development of economies. Meanwhile, Rashid Al Maktoum referred to the commercial relations between Argentina and the United Arab Emirates. In order to promote this exchange, the Dubai Government was interested in collaborating with this link and suggested relations through the Argentine Embassy in the United Arab Emirates.

On his part, Fascendini remarked that at the meeting with the highest authorities they gave for everything that means international trade, development of the three provinces of the Region and geographical information centre." We have exchanged views and agreed to a longer follow-up and support so we continue consolidating relations".

MEETING WITH THE DUBAI DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
The different delegations in each province also met with the general director of the Department of Economic Development of Dubai, Fahad AlGergawi. There, they spoke on the stage that opens with the new representative at the Santa Fe Office in Dubai, Omar Haffar, who will take office soon to facilitate the commercial relationship between enterprises from Santa Fe and the Arab world.

Also, it was promoted from Santa Fe that the office is, in addition, a space of bonding for the companies belonging to the provinces of the Central Region. In this regard, Fascendini argued that "we talked about the possibilities of expediting foreign trade and facilitate the exchange between our entrepreneurs".

Also attended on behalf of the Department of economic development, Khalid Abdulla Al Boom, CEO of the Dubai Department of economic Development under the Investment Development agency; and Walid Abdulla Marhoon, senior manager of the investment development agency in Dubai.

On behalf of Santa Fe, attended the Minister of Economy, Gonzalo Saglione; the General Secretary of the Federal Council of Investments (CFI), Mr. Juan José Ciacera; the Argentine Ambassador in USA, Fernando de Martini; and mayors and provincial officials.
