Lifschitz receives the Uruguayan Ambassador in Rosario

They discussed investments and trade, and the possibility of deepening ties of cooperation in the field of energy and tourism.

The Governor of Santa Fe, Miguel Lifschitz, received in Rosario the protocolary visit of the Ambassador of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, Héctor Lescano Fraschini, with whom he exchanged information on investment and trade, and the possibility of deepening ties of cooperation in the field of tourism and energy.

"We have come to greet the governor within the framework of a working trip, where we are dealing with issues linked to the brotherhood between these two peoples, as the subjects of ports, the Parana – Paraguay waterway, energy, road works, and tourism", said Lescano Fraschini.

Besides discussing the possibility of deepening trade and cultural ties, the diplomat and the Governor exchanged gifts, once Lifschitz had declared him a guest of Honor.

The meeting, at the seat of Government in Rosario, was also attended by the Secretary of International Relations, María Julia Reyna; the Director of International Relations, Paula Demarchi, and the Consul of Uruguay in Rosario, Carlos Betancourt.

Lescano Fraschini came to the city also accompanied by a trade mission with businessmen from his country.
