The province promotes a meeting for local companies interested in investing in Bolivia

The Ministers of Production, Alicia Ciciliani, and Economy, Gonzalo Saglione, and entrepreneurs from Santa Fe participated in the city of Santa Fe, in a working breakfast with the former Minister of Economy and Public Finance of Bolivia, Luis Alberto Arce Cotacoa.

The meeting, which took place at the headquarters of the Industrial Union of Santa Fe (UISF) and was jointly organized by the provincial government, the Center for Municipal and Provincial Studies (Cemupro), the Uisf and the Chamber of Commerce of Santa Fe, aimed to strengthen ties between companies in the provincial territory and the neighboring country.

During the meeting, the minister said, "Santa Fe and Argentina have to look to Latin America and value what we have nearby", referring to Bolivia, and added, "The future that comes is a world of change in relation to geopolitics, in which the United States is withdrawing from its global economic leadership, leaving its hegemony free. "

As regards the meeting, Ciciliani stressed, “It is important to join us in open, heartfelt dialogue tables, where we can deal with these issues, and break with the old paradigms that lead to crisis every ten years."

"In the ministry we will find the opening, we will work with figures, with evidence, and I will dedicate myself to establish teams and targets, and I will be working with you to set goals," concluded the minister addressing the entrepreneurs.

In addition, Bolivia's former minister of Economy and Public Finance said, "Bolivia is not waiting or going to extend the hand to get out of poverty," and explained that "the way we have discovered, ourselves, to get out of poverty is to produce. We have enormous agricultural potential, industrialization of our resources and energy production. "

"Our country has decided to leave the old logic of the neoliberal market economy and we have acted with a different vision, with a new economic model where we have achieved growth figures that allow us to show Latin America that there is another alternative , with the highest growth in the region, with very low inflation and very important social results, " said Mr. Catacora.
