The provincial citizen innovation laboratory, Santalab, presents its experience in innovative ideas and collaborative communities at the Smart City Expo Latam Congress, which takes place in the city of Puebla.

The province presents Santalab experience in Mexico

The provincial government, through Santalab, participates in the Smart City Expo Latam Congress: "Collaborative communities, intelligent territories" held in the city of Puebla, Mexico. The meeting seeks to explain, discuss, inspire and exchange knowledge and innovative ideas for the intelligent development of cities.

Representatives from more than 250 cities, institutions, civil society organizations and companies participate to identify common challenges and to present solutions aimed at promotion of sustainable and equitable urban management, which allows the development of territories and cities in Latin America.

In this context, the undersecretary of public innovation of the province, Diego Gismondi, oversees the conference for the presentation of Santalab as an example of development and construction of citizen innovation, collaborative communities and public policy generation.

In this context, the awards to the governing competition of the Inter-American Development Bank are presented, which seeks to identify, document and disseminate innovative public management initiatives that promote trust between citizens and these ones with the Government and Public institutions, including those projects aimed at improving democratic coexistence, citizen participation and social cohesion in a society.
