The Ministry of Provincial Security, in conjunction with the Chief of Police of the province of Santa Fe, appointed the Police Chief Maria Isabel Mendoza, the Deputy Chief of the Regional Unit I; and Karina Degra, Chief of Operations Division of Regional Unit II, to represent the provincial government.
The Minister of Security, Maximiliano Pullaro, thanked the efforts of the DAIA President, Santa Fe district, Horacio Roitman, so that two police officers from Santa Fe could integrate the National Committee and thus continue with the permanent training in the area of security.
The initiative is part of the cooperation agreement between the two countries that began last year the Minister of Security of the Nation, Patricia Bullrich, with members of the Israeli forces.
During the trip, 22 police superintendents and inspectors from several argentine provinces held training meetings in Tel Aviv with officials from the Israeli Prime Minister's security area; participated in classes of Krav Maga, which is the official system of struggle and self-defense used by the Israeli Defense Forces; and they took risk scenarios simulation workshops.
CULTURAL ACTIVITIES
In addition to the activities of specific police training, the uniformed paid homage to the victims of the Holocaust at the museum Yad Vashem. They also toured holy places in Jerusalem, participated in conferences related to the Israelite community, commando and emergency drills, a guided visit to the Jerusalem Monitoring Centre, talks on terrorism, and of practical simulation exercises in emergency situations.
