Uboldi referred to Cemafe saying, "It is one of the most important outpatient centers in our province, which meant a breakthrough for us because, together with the Ambulatory Medical Specialty Center of Rosario (Cemar), they are fundamental links in the reorganization of outpatient care, allowing users not to have to make long queues and move through different effectors, but the system itself is the one that guides them."
In this regard, Escajadillo stated, "This center is intended for public health. It's not a private sanatorium, it's freely accessible with a scheduled work scheme designed for people."
He went on explaining, "The concept of hospital has changed: it’s no longer needed to go to get an appointment at 3 or 4 in the morning with cold, rainy or hot weather; today it has been optimized. It's not enough to have 1000 beds for 1000 patients: besides the beds, infrastructure is required, as well as the logistics and the trained staff at the right time."
The secretary recalled, "From Civil Protection we worked a lot with the Red Cross. In the last six years we have combined and joined forces in the various emergencies in the province."
