COVID-19: THE PROVINCE CONDUCted 3,200 smell TESTS IN THE LAST 24 HOURS AT GENERAL LAGOS TOLL

It has been confirmed by the province's Undersecretary of Road Safety, Osvaldo Aymo. Light vehicle traffic has been decreasing by 20% from week to week. There have been no incidents.

The undersecretary of Road Safety of the province, Osvaldo Aymo, referred to the results of the first day of reinforced checks to detect cases of Covid-19 made at the toll located on the Rosario - Buenos Aires highway, at General Lagos.

The official acknowledged, “It was a very active day, in which 3,200 smell tests were done, and also the temperature was taken." On the other hand, he stressed that while there were logical delays due to the large number of vehicles transiting around daily, there were "no inconveniences" with drivers; while there were already more than 900 vehicles that were prevented from entering the province at the various checkpoints that the government had throughout the territory”.

He also mentioned, “Besides the Road Police, with which we have been working from the beginning of the pandemic, we have also been working with the Ministry of Health”. In that regard, he recalled, “At that point we set a health post that, before altered parameters such as high temperature, anosmia or another alternative that can be presented in a test, we have the possibility to do a PCR test".

APP COVID-19 Province of Santa Fe

The Undersecretary of Transport, Juliana Armendariz, stated, “It is mandatory for anyone who makes an interprovincial trip, to report the route in the APP COVID-19 Province of Santa Fe. The origin and destination of each trip that is made and involving our province must be reported."

"Since the announcement of the new measures, a total of 14,464 new downloads of the PPP have been made, which marks a great compliance by the citizens, mainly of the inhabitants of other provinces," the provincial official concluded.

APP FEATURES

The application allows consultations on the symptoms of the disease, recommended hygiene and care measures and developments on the measures taken by the Government in general.

It has an expert system that allows to make a preliminary self-diagnosis with the symptoms presented by the user in order to have a first approximation about the coincidence or not as a possible COVID-19 case. In turn, it allows to coordinate with the call center 0800 555 6549, if necessary, to be evaluated remotely by a medical team that will assess each situation and determine the steps to be followed.

For already diagnosed patients and isolated people, it enables real-time follow-up and allows emergency assistance to be requested in case symptoms worsen.

On the other hand, this channel will also be able to report on people who are not complying with mandatory quarantine, non-compliance with prevention measures, excessive price increases, supply and other situations linked to the fight against the pandemic.

The application is also used as a means of communication to report progress in the fight against the pandemic (cases detected, recommended measures, government decisions and developments in general).
