Perotti meets with members of the Chamber of Deputies of the province

The mayors of Santa Fe and Rosario have also participated. "The provincial government completely endorses the actions of the Justice, so that it does what it has to be done," remarked Minister Corach.

The governor of the province, Omar Perotti, met with members of the Chamber of Deputies and the mayors of the cities of Santa Fe, Emilio Jatón, and Rosario, Pablo Javkin, to analyze security policies.

After the meeting, the Minister of Public Management, Marcos Corach, explained: "The entire provincial government completely endorses the action of the Justice, so that it does what it has to be done. Each and every one of the deputies and the president of the Senate Security Committee showed absolute willingness. Everyone was absolutely willing to talk and propose. It was a long and productive meeting."

"The call for extraordinary sessions is imminent, we have discussed the agenda with the legislators, which would include the provincial budget, the tax budget, the emergency project in security, the emergency project in prison service and an agreement with Anses. In the immediate term, we will discuss emergency projects in security and prison service. This is the most urgent issue," Corach added.

The minister reported: "The governor has summarized all the actions and all the investments made by the different ministries. In addition, he has answered each of the proposals of the deputies and gave a response to many of the claims and requests. "

Finally, the head of the Public Management portfolio announced: "We are going to ask the Attorney General of the Nation, Dr. Eduardo Casal, to use the powers granted by law to appoint assistant prosecutors so that they support the work on crimes related to drug trafficking carried out by federal prosecutors who perform functions in the province."

Then, the provincial deputy Leandro Busatto explained: "I think we have to turn the page and probably at some point, generate a more intense dialogue regarding a problem that is leading us all to a very uncomfortable situation, fundamentally for citizens."

"The most important person in charge of the province in institutional terms, who is the governor, has called for a frank and sincere dialogue. We listened to each other for five and a half hours. I think it is important to start establishing a much more dynamic work methodology between the Legislature, the Executive Branch and, without a doubt, also the Judicial Branch," Busatto concluded.

Finally, the provincial deputy Maximiliano Pullaro stressed, "It was a very good meeting, the governor was clear and I value that deeply; he said the Justice would be supported to do whatever it was necessary."
