The so-called Ospe hours have not been updated since 2018. The announcement was made by Security Minister Jorge Lagna during a delivery of motorcycles for the Police of the Departments of San Justo and Garay.

The Ministry of Security led by Jorge Lagna, announced, on Tuesday, an increase in the value of the Extraordinary Service Orders for Security and Prevention (Osesp) from July. Thus, the base hour is 180 pesos between 6 and 22. In the case of services after that time, 20% will be added to the value.
In this regard, Lagna said that "our main objective is to have a more trained, more equipped and better paid police force. Therefore, we give a bonus to the street policemen." And in relation to this, he confirmed that "Governor Perotti signed an 80% increase for the hours known as Ospe, and we are working on other incentives for police personnel."
"We want the police personnel to return to the streets and be a local policeman, we have to take administrative tasks and encourage them so that they can work in their places of proximity and that the neighbors trust the police again," the minister said.
COMPREHENSIVE SECURITY PLAN
Also, within the framework of the Comprehensive Security Plan, Lagna delivered four motorcycles for the Garay department, destined for the towns of Helvecia, Cayastá, El Laurel and Santa Rosa de Calchines; and four motorcycles for the department of San Justo, of which three remain in the Regional Unit of San Justo and one goes to the town of Gobernador Crespo.
In this regard, the security minister said that "we are facing a plan to modernize and equip the police force as never seen before, with an investment that will exceed $7,400 million, which will lead to the Santa Fe Police among the best equipped and to a technological leap."
In addition, he thanked "the effort of all police personnel in this pandemic" and indicated that "we want to improve working conditions so that they give back a little of everything they give daily to society."
On her part, the chief of police of the province, Emilce Chimenti, said that "today is a day that we celebrate as an institution, which is the delivery of tools for our daily work. These bikes are going to serve for a better patrol, more dynamic and closer".
