Las prácticas odontológicas incluidas en la cobertura del IAPOS son las consultas, obturaciones, los tratamientos de conducto, odontología preventiva y odontopediatría, periodoncia, radiografía y cirugía.
- Prótesis: la cobertura del IAPOS es del 50% del costo de la prótesis. Los beneficiarios deben contar con el descuento de Servicio Complementario.
- Implantes: se reconocerá el 50% del costo de 1 implante por año a afiliados mayores de 18 años que cuenten con la cobertura de Servicio Complementario.
La autorización de los tratamientos odontológicos la realiza el profesional tratante en forma online, adjuntando la documentación que justifique la práctica a realizar. En el caso de prótesis e implantes se requerirá además fichas odontológicas o formularios para implantes dentales
Para los niños menores de 12 años la cobertura es gratuita, sin pago de coseguros, es decir que los bonos asistenciales son sin cargo.
