This was said by the Governor during the presentation of the Tecnoindustria 4.0 program. It provides for an investment of 840 million dollars, which will be allocated to more than 800 projects for added value, digital transformation, clean and energy prod

The Governor of Santa Fe, Maximiliano Pullaro, together with the Minister of Productive Development, Gustavo Puccini, presented the Tecnoindustria 4.0 program, a comprehensive plan to improve the products and production processes of Santa Fe companies through regional technology centers.

The event took place at the Alvear Industrial Park and was also attended by the Secretary of Industrial Development of the Province, Guillermo Beccani; the Provincial Director of Industry 4.0 Technology, Ramiro Vio; the President of the Municipality of Alvear, Carlos Pighin and the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Clara García.

Tecnoindustria envisages an investment of 840 million dollars that will be allocated to more than 800 projects for value addition, adoption and/or digital transformation, cleaner production and energy transition.

In this regard, Pullaro said that "it is very important to show the public policies of Santa Fe through a medium and long-term view to start oiling the gears that have the huge productive and industrial system of the province and from this place allow us that Argentina can look to Santa Fe and that we are the locomotive of the change of model that must come in our country".

"We have 660 companies that export in the province and they are our pride because in an unstable economy like the one we have had in recent years, our industrialists, especially those linked to what our land means, have been able to overcome all the crises", stressed Pullaro, who in turn emphasized: "They have an ally in the provincial government that supports them and defends the productive system of Santa Fe with great courage and clarity," he pointed out.

"From Buenos Aires - he warned - they will not come and mark the field for us. We have already prevented it from happening when they wanted to increase withholdings from the countryside and industry, and we said no. We intend that the strength and power of the productive hinterland of Santa Fe, Córdoba and Entre Ríos will be the driving force behind this. We intend that the strength and power of the productive hinterland of Santa Fe, Córdoba and Entre Ríos be the engine of the locomotive that must lead the change in Argentina," he concluded.

 Innovation and competitiveness

Meanwhile, Puccini commented that the Tecnoindustria 4.0 program "seeks to promote, accompany and strengthen the productive processes within each company, as well as to improve them, and to do so through the various technology parks and poles. We will help more than 800 companies in the province of Santa Fe understanding what it means to innovate today to maintain and sustain business competitiveness.

At the same time, he stated that "in this plan that we have to draw up as a province, we have to make our value chain, which is very complex, diverse and has many strengths, as competitive as possible. Innovation is at the heart of this program".

Later, the Secretary of Industrial Development, Guillermo Beccani, gave details of the program that "is articulated with 12 development agencies and associations and 27 technology centers. In this edition, the program will focus on three areas: technical assistance, the transition to Industry 4.0 and the transition to renewable energy. There will be a first call this month, where we foresee 420 grants at a rate of up to $900,000,000 per project; and a second call in September, where we would reach $1,100,000 per project, with a total investment of $840 million".

For his part, the mayor of Alvear, Carlos Pighin, said that "our city is industrial and for this reason we want to accompany the industrial development of our city, but above all of the province of Santa Fe. We know that we have a lot to give and to accompany our provincial government in this very important stage and that from Santa Fe we will be the pillars for the recovery of our Argentina".

Finally, the Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Consortium of Owners of the Alvear Industrial Park, Rubén Cazeneuve, said: "We support all initiatives related to this type of activities to increase training and development of the industry, and we hope that they will continue and deepen throughout the trajectory of this government".

The presentation was also attended by mayors and municipal presidents of the region, technology centers, development agencies and entrepreneurs, local councilors and councilors of neighboring cities, other provincial and municipal authorities and intermediate entities.
