The provincial government presented the "Santa Fe Business Forum" on Wednesday in Rafaela, an event to be held from 3 to 5 September at La Fluvial in Rosario, which will bring together foreign companies from more than 30 destinations with local firms to generate trade agreements and promote investment.
In this regard, the Secretary of Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Productive Development, Georgina Losada, said that "we are touring the province and working in coordination with all municipalities to expose our plan"; and said that "this great event represents a unique opportunity for businessmen, entrepreneurs and key players in Rafaela, to consolidate the strategic position of this city, with strong technological development, in the context of international trade and regional economic growth".
"The goal of the Santa Fe Business Forum is to strengthen the province's exports and turn Santa Fe into an epicentre of international business, fostering the relationship between companies in our province and investors from different countries," Losada concluded.
For his part, the mayor of Rafaela, Leonardo Viotti, stressed that the initiative "is very important for the firms of our city. It is a reverse mission with more than 200 potential buyers that will allow us to show all the export offer of Rafaela, which has 46 companies that are exporting today, but has more than 100 with potential, and in the region, there are many more. Together, we can make Santa Fe grow".
"We are going to collaborate with the representatives of the companies, associations and chambers so that Rafaela has representatives in international trade missions. We are going to show the world what we, the people from Rafaela, are and what we can do, so that our companies export much more", concluded Viotti.
The presentation, which took place at the Centre "La Estación" in Rafaela, was also attended by the president of the Chamber of Foreign Trade, Edmundo Lopez, and the Secretary of Regional Linkage, Roberto Verge, who spoke about the provincial strategies and policies aimed at strengthening international trade relations.

In addition, Losada, together with the president of Enerfé, Rodolfo Giacosa, toured the Rafaela International Logistics Centre, the metallurgical company Desarrollo de Equipos Industriales (Deisa) and Grana, a company specialising in the implementation of engineering projects and corporate image.
