Pullaro: "You will find us as an ally of our productive sector, commerce, industry and farmers".

This was stated by the Governor at the opening of the Business Round "Santa Fe and industry in the centre", in Rosario. It brings together 300 participants from Santa Fe and 11 other provinces to promote exchange and improve sales.

Maximiliano Pullaro led the central event that took place in La Fluvial in the city of Rosario.

Governor Maximiliano Pullaro opened this Friday the Business Round "Santa Fe and the industry in the centre", a meeting that brings together the main actors in the food industry, mass consumption and its value chain. The main event took place at La Fluvial in the city of Rosario and was attended by 300 participants from Santa Fe and 11 other provinces.

The activity was organised by the Government of Santa Fe and supported by the Argentine Confederation of Medium-sized Enterprises (SME) and the Rosario Business Association.

The aim of the meeting was to bring together at the same table those who are producing food and beverages, and other items, with the buyers themselves, managers or owners of supermarkets, self-service stores, grocery stores in Santa Fe and other provinces, with the aim of promoting exchange, improving sales and achieving lower prices. The working day will last until 17.30 and the dynamic consists of 20-minute meetings, also including working tables with banks and the presence of regional development agencies.

During the presentation, the governor was accompanied by the vice-governor, Gisela Scaglia; the minister of Productive Development, Gustavo Puccini and of Production, Science and Technology of the province of Córdoba, Pedro Dellarossa; the mayor of Rosario, Pablo Javkin;  the President of the Chamber of Deputies, Clara García; the Secretary of Domestic Trade and Services, Gustavo Rezoaglio; the Undersecretary of Consumer Protection and Fair Trade of the Secretariat of Industry and Trade of the National Ministry of Economy, Fernando Blanco Muñoz; among others.

The province, an ally

In this context, Pullaro said that "regionalisation and integration is essential to strengthen us. From Santa Fe we are convinced that our country is immense and will move forward, not with the world of finance or speculation, but if we manage to generate work, economic development and employment" and in this sense he remarked that "what we are doing here today, in short, is that: listening to the private sector and generating from the public sector those tools that are essential for us to grow".

Furthermore, the governor assured that the provincial government "will find us as an ally of our productive sector, an ally of commerce, industry and the countryside. And we will always be here to defend them, because we are convinced that the only way we can move forward is if we manage to generate better conditions and economic growth.

In turn, Puccini stressed: "We want to encourage people to get to know each other, new suppliers to appear, price lists to be updated, new products to emerge and, fundamentally, we want to make visible all the quality of the products that not only Santa Fe has, but also the rest of the provinces", adding: "The world demands food, society demands food, and today we are here with this round generating a link between productions. Therefore, this has to be the showcase of the productive heart of Argentina because we have land, river, airports, ports, industry, fields, traders and we have the best production that the world can have".
