Mining is crucial for industrial and technological growth, and Santa Fe aims to be a key player. With 20 local companies participating, Santa Fe emphasizes its commitment to innovation and development at Arminera 2025, a major mining event.
The government of Santa Fe, represented by the Ministry of Productive Development under the leadership of Gustavo Puccini, supported these firms at the Argentina Arminera International Mining Exhibition, held from 20 to 22 May at the La Rural de Palermo Exhibition Centre in Palermo, Buenos Aires. With an institutional space covering 98m², the companies showcased their production capabilities, established new partnerships, and progressed in their integration into global supply chains.
Santa Fe enhances its position in the mining industry

Arminera, with over 400 exhibitors and 20,000 visitors, enabled Santa Fe to showcase its strengths and solidify its industry presence. The 20 Santa Fe companies participated in 15 meetings each with more than 30 mining sites, enhancing business opportunities and forging strategic commercial ties.
Minister Gustavo Puccini emphasized Santa Fe's crucial role in Argentina's productivity and its potential to contribute to the energy and technological future. He stated, "Our province has the capacity to provide essential inputs for mining, confirming we are on the right path."
An expanding industry: Santa Fe and mining
Santa Fe is consolidating its position as a strategic supplier of essential goods and services to the mining and oil industry. Through more than 300 companies, the province supplies various ventures in Argentina, including Vaca Muerta, with innovative industrial solutions.
The provincial government has promoted key initiatives to strengthen this presence, such as the Gas, Oil and Mining Roundtable, a public-private articulation space that seeks to improve the competitiveness of Santa Fe firms. Although mining and oil are not traditional activities in the region, Santa Fe provides essential products such as metal profiles, plastic parts, tanks, prefabricated housing and technical equipment that are essential for the growth of the sector.
"Thanks to its industrial infrastructure and productive capacity, Santa Fe has found in mining and oil a way to diversify its economy and consolidate itself as a strategic partner in the provision of essential goods and services for these sectors," said Puccini.
