Plan Bandera: Pullaro and Cococcioni formally welcomed the newly appointed Minister, Monteoliva

Today, the governor of Santa Fe, the provincial minister of Justice and Security, and a national official met at Rosario's Government Headquarters.

This Friday, Governor Maximiliano Pullaro, Provincial Minister of Justice and Security Pablo Cococcioni, and the new Minister of National Security, Alejandra Monteoliva, held a coordination meeting to analyse the joint deployment that has been carried out for two years between provincial and federal security forces within the framework of Plan Bandera.

The meeting between provincial and national officials took place in the afternoon at the Government Headquarters in Rosario and coincided with Monteoliva's first visit as Minister of National Security, replacing the recently elected national senator Patricia Bullrich.

"I want to convey to the people of Rosario that Plan Bandera is a priority, that it is growing stronger every day and that the efforts of the national government are complementing the work of the province. We understand that this is the only way to continue generating the results we have achieved so far," Monteoliva said at a press conference.

"We greatly appreciate the two years of work done by outgoing Minister Patricia Bullrich, and we have no doubt that we will continue this work," said Minister Cococcioni. He assured that the new head of the national portfolio, who was previously Secretary of Security, "is a highly qualified person with whom we have been working closely for a year and a half."

"She and her team have played a fundamental role in the results achieved in the province of Santa Fe, particularly in Rosario, in reducing the terrible violence indicators we saw in December 2023," Cococcioni emphasised about the new minister, Monteoliva.

The national official indicated that "for us, it is essential, from the Ministry of Security, to have a permanent presence and support in the city of Rosario. The Bandera Plan is part of our fundamental government priorities".

The coordination meeting was held at the Provincial Ministry of Justice and Security and, in addition to Governor Pullaro and Ministers Cococcioni and Monteoliva, was attended by officials Martin Ferlauto (Secretary of Security), Federico Angelini (Undersecretary of Federal Intervention) and Germán Pugnaloni (Director of Regulations and Liaison with the Justice System), among others.
