The Government of Santa Fe, through the Ministry of Education, will open 18 new tertiary courses throughout the province of Santa Fe, with the aim of responding to the demands and needs of different cities and towns.
Over the coming weeks, the range of higher education courses on offer will be expanded to include the cities of San Justo, Las Toscas, Vera, San Vicente, San Cristóbal, Santa Fe, Fray Luis Beltrán, Rufino, Alcorta, Villa Cañás, Ceres, San Jorge and Villa Minetti.
"The opening of new courses is a fundamental step towards strengthening education and productive development in each of the communities, and with the launch of 18 new academic programmes, including teacher training and technical courses, we are responding in a concrete way to existing demand and the real needs of the labour market," said José Goity, Minister of Education of Santa Fe.
The head of the education portfolio thanked the management teams of the institutes where the new courses will be launched for their commitment, "because planning and coordination with the educational community have been fundamental in ensuring the proper administration of economic, administrative and human resources, and responsible and transparent work allows us to continue expanding rights, strengthening the education system and generating more opportunities for young people and adults."
For his part, the Undersecretary of Higher Education, Eugenio Fernández, stated that "these new degree programmes are the result of dialogue with the productive sector, institutions and the educational community, based on the understanding that training must be aligned with the current and future challenges of the world of work. We are convinced that education is the most powerful tool for generating inclusion, social mobility and sustainable development."
Cities and courses
In the city of San Justo, San Justo department, the Higher Technical Degree in Public Administration will be taught at the Escuela Superior de Comercio Nº 45 "Dr. José Roberto González", and the Higher Technical Degree in Renewable Energy at the Instituto Superior de Profesorado Nº 20 "Senador Néstor Juan Zamaro".
In the town of Las Toscas, General Obligado department, the Technical Degree in Rural Administration will be offered at the headquarters of Institute No. 63 "Natalia Quessus," and the English Teaching Degree will be offered at its extension campus in the town of Florencia.
In Vera, a Higher Technical Degree in Social and Solidarity Economy with a focus on local development and a Higher Teacher Training Degree in Education Sciences will be offered at the Higher College No. 42 "Dr. Agustín Luis Rossi".
In San Vicente, Castellanos department, a Teacher Training Degree in Technological Education will be offered at the Higher Institute No. 65 "Amelia Diaz".
In the San Cristóbal department, the Teacher Training Programme in Language and Literature will be offered at the No. 40 Institute in the city of San Cristóbal, and at the No. 26 Institute in Ceres, the Higher Technical Degree in Organisational Management will be offered.
In the city of Villa Minetti, in the department of 9 de Julio, a Higher Technical Degree in Rural Administration will be offered at Institute No. 69.
At Institute No. 46 in the city of Santa Fe, La Capital department, a Teacher Training Programme in Technological Education will be offered for its extension classroom in the city of Recreo; and at Institute No. 67, in the Yapeyú neighbourhood, a Higher Technical Degree in Health Administration and a Higher Technical Degree in Occupational Health and Safety will be offered for its annex in the town of Rincón.
At Institute No. 22 in Fray Luis Beltrán, San Lorenzo department, the Economics Teacher Training Programme will be opened.
In the General López department, at Institute No. 50 in the city of Rufino, the Higher Technical Degree in Therapeutic Accompaniment will be offered, while in Villa Cañás, at Institute No. 38, the Higher Technical Degree in Rural Administration will be offered.
At Institute No. 37 in the city of Alcorta, Constitución department, the Special Education Teacher Training Programme with a focus on Intellectual Disabilities and the Higher Technical Degree in Public Administration will be offered.
Finally, in the city of San Jorge, San Martín department, the Economics Teacher Training Programme will be offered at Institute No. 41 in that locality.
It should be noted that for new students entering the 2026 academic year, registration is open in person at the respective institutes.
