Santa Fe is set to make a significant impact at Agroactiva 2026 with an unprecedented turnout. More than 200 companies from Santa Fe will showcase their products, services and technological innovations, whilst a further 400 firms, SMEs and institutions will take part in various scheduled activities and presentations. The event, coordinated by the Ministry of Productive Development through the Santa Fe Expone programme, will bring together strategic sectors such as metalworking, agricultural technology, food and renewable energy. Minister Gustavo Puccini stated that “this year, Santa Fe is not only bringing more companies: it is bringing a vision for the future. Governor Maximiliano Pullaro’s decision is to support every SME and every entrepreneur, and to ensure that Santa Fe’s products reach domestic and international markets with quality and sustainability”.
Stand opening and funding
The highlight will be the official opening of the Santa Fe stand on Wednesday 3rd at 4 pm, where the productive financing schemes will be presented and the province’s participation in the fair will formally begin. In this context, the Provincial Government will announce a credit package worth $78 billion, with an interest rate subsidy of up to 15 basis points, earmarked for investment, working capital, the energy transition and technology applied to agriculture.
The proposals include agreements with Banco Municipal de Rosario, Banco Santa Fe, Banco Coinag and Banco BICA, and new lines of credit are being negotiated with other financial institutions to expand the available tools. Puccini emphasised: “Subsidised financing is a concrete tool enabling our businesses to invest, modernise and become more competitive. It is an interest rate subsidy of up to 15 basis points that makes the difference between staying put or growing. Every peso invested in these lines is a commitment to innovation, job creation and the consolidation of Santa Fe as the country’s productive engine”.
The Santa Fe stand will cover 13,800 square metres spread across six sections, with areas dedicated to businesses, entrepreneurs, institutions, business matchmaking, finance and culture.
Plots 1, 2 and 4 will form a productive corridor featuring company exhibitions; plot 3 will be the institutional space with an auditorium, meeting room, press area, streaming facilities and a banking and finance section; plot 5 will be dedicated to cultural and technological activities, with displays of drones, interactive domes and ‘Sabores de Santa Fe’; and plot 6 will bring together entrepreneurs.
The Minister for Productive Development emphasised that “each zone is a showcase of who we are: production, innovation, culture and tourism. Santa Fe presents itself as a holistic province, which does not separate the knowledge industry from the territory, nor production from the territory”.
The official agenda includes ongoing activities such as the productive financing area, interactive demonstrations at airports and ports, and services provided by the Technical Assistance Directorate, the Soil Observatory, Assal, the Consumer Protection Ag Highlights include the opening of the International Business Rounds on Wednesday 3rd at 9.30 am and the launch of the third edition of the Santa Fe Business Forum on Thursday 4th at 12 noon. There will also be provincial thematic panels on meat, rice, irrigation, sheep, horticulture and buffalo, as well as cultural shows and daily culinary offerings featuring chefs from Santa Fe.
Puccini emphasised that Santa Fe’s presence at Agroactiva 2026 is not limited to the exhibition of products and services but constitutes a comprehensive public policy: “As at every exhibition, we bring the cabinet out into the field. All departments come together in a single space to engage directly with the productive sectors, discussing, listening and working together. It is no coincidence that Santa Fe has 600 companies at the fair today: it is the result of sustained support and planning.”
“Agroactiva is an opportunity to show that Santa Fe not only produces, but also innovates, exports, creates jobs and builds cultural identity. It is the embodiment of a province that is projecting itself onto the world stage,” concluded the Minister for Production and the Secretariat for Women, Gender and Diversity.
