The Government of Santa Fe, through the Ministry of Productive Development and Santa Fe Global, is finalising the details of the third edition of the Santa Fe Business Forum, which will take place from 31 August to 4 September.
La Fluvial, in Rosario, will once again be the main venue, although the programme will also include activities in the city of Santa Fe and industrial tours of various locations in the provincial interior.
The initiative aims to facilitate links between businesses in Santa Fe and international buyers. More than 250 representatives from 40 countries and investment funds will take part in business roundtables, sector-specific presentations and visits to factories and production facilities.
The forum combines personalised business agendas with company visits to promote export opportunities in sectors such as agri-food, industry, biotechnology, software and the knowledge economy.
Hosting buyers at the plant

Juntas Illinois, the long-established Rosario-based automotive parts manufacturer with 83 years’ experience in producing engine components, took part in the first two editions of the event. Its commercial director, Matías Tur, highlighted the impact of the initiative on small and medium-sized enterprises.
“It is very difficult for an SME to gain access on its own to so many potential customers in one place,” he noted. Tur particularly valued the visits by international buyers to the company’s factory: “They allow us to showcase what we produce, how we work and to build trust.”
As he explained, taking part in the forum enabled the company to secure new business deals and strengthen ties with clients who had not previously met the company in person. He also emphasised the importance of having business agendas tailored to the profiles and needs of each firm.
A platform for start-ups and emerging businesses
The event also features a dedicated space for start-ups, technology-based companies and emerging projects seeking to expand their international reach.
Máximo Pariente, founder of ByZen, recounted the company’s experience at the previous edition: “We were able to showcase our work and connect with overseas companies interested in our products.”
Pariente believes the forum helps bring entrepreneurs and SMEs closer to markets that would otherwise be difficult to access. “It’s a concrete opportunity to open up commercial doors,” he said.
Matchmaking sessions, investment opportunities and factory visits
The 2026 edition will cover sectors such as agricultural machinery, food, automotive parts, biotechnology, medical technology and the knowledge economy. In addition to business matchmaking sessions and presentations to venture capital funds, international delegations will visit dairy farms, meat-processing plants, biotechnology hubs and industrial complexes in the centre and north of the province.
Companies, industries and start-ups interested in taking part can upload their product catalogues and request business meetings via the official platform. Registration remains open until 25 August to validate profiles and draw up business agendas: http://santafe.gob.ar/santafeglobal/businessforum.
